I believe faith is about far more than a one-time decision or a set of religious rules. It’s about an ongoing, authentic relationship with God—learning to walk with Him, spend time with Him, and discover who we are as we participate in what He is already doing in the world. I am especially passionate about helping students and individuals move beyond simply “knowing about” God to truly owning their faith and experiencing Him personally.
Outside of counseling and ministry, I love connecting with people over a good cup of coffee and meaningful conversation. I enjoy long walks where I can think, pray, and dream about what’s possible. Music, biking, board games, video games, camping, and time outdoors all bring me joy. I’m also a fan of long car rides with the windows down and the music turned up—those quiet moments often become spaces for reflection and prayer.
My own journey with faith was not always easy or obvious. Growing up, I didn’t see church or the Bible as relevant to real life. By my freshman year of high school, I found myself overwhelmed by a sense of emptiness and a lack of purpose. Faith felt like nothing more than rules and expectations—until my family began attending a different church. There, I encountered people whose faith felt genuine and alive. I became deeply aware of the brokenness and sin in my own life and my need for something more.
When I heard the message of salvation clearly presented, I placed my trust in Jesus Christ—not only for forgiveness, but for a redeemed life and future. That moment marked the beginning of a relationship that continues to shape who I am today. My hope is to help others experience that same freedom—not just knowing they are saved, but discovering the joy of walking daily with God and participating in the work He wants to do in and through their lives.

After committing my life to Christ, I began to notice a deep desire to share what God was doing in me—not just from a platform, but through relationships. In spending time with Him in Scripture, prayer, and everyday life, my faith shifted from simply believing the right things to learning how to walk closely with Jesus. The more I experienced His grace and truth personally, the more I wanted my life to be shaped by Him and used in service to others.
Over time, I realized that what mattered most to me was not just communicating information about God, but helping people encounter Him in a real and personal way. I felt a growing burden to walk alongside others as they wrestled with questions, doubts, and growth—creating space for healing, honesty, and spiritual formation. This led to a clear calling into vocational, full-time ministry, a calling God has faithfully confirmed in my life again and again.
I graduated from Moody Bible Institute in 2008 with a B.A. in Youth Ministry. God has graciously blessed me with my best friend as my spouse, and together we share a passion for serving the Lord in full-time ministry. Our desire is to help individuals—especially students—own their faith, moving beyond surface-level belief into a deep, authentic relationship with Jesus.
My heart’s desire is that my life would faithfully point others toward Christ—an arrow aimed toward heaven—inviting people not just to know about God, but to walk with Him and experience the transforming power of a life lived in relationship with Him.
