Let it go…let it Grow.

You see, maybe in order to do the Lord’s work, to produce the fruit of the Spirit, we must stop trying in our own strength. We must make the conditions right for growth. Is it possible that in order to see God grow what He desires for us to produce we must let it go and stay out of His way?

Marks of a Christian

marks_christian_thumb I remember when I first became a Christian, I was bumping heads with all kinds of people. I had a passion for Christ and I wanted to let everyone know the truth and what they needed to change their life and make themselves right with God. I was on fire for the Lord but I had no sense of how to handle this new found life, energy and passion in my soul. I had no idea how to love others in Christ, I had no sense of listening, offering grace and mercy or just praying for those who did not want to listen to the Gospel.

Brokenness

BrokenessTHUMBIf you’re anything like me you hate it when things are out of place or not working. We like to have everything put together. I hate it when there is a task lying around that remains unfinished or an appliance that sits in my house in a definitive non-working condition. I dislike broken things. I am bugged until they are fixed and working again.
